Twenty years later, after receiving requests to take his new martial art to the West, In Hyuk Suh established the kuk sool won headquarters in San Francisco, Calif. Word Spread fast about a Korean martial art that could be all things to all people. Whether it was self-defense, weapons training, mental or physical conditioning, every aspect of the martial arts was covered under the umbrella known as kuk sool won. In his first book aimed at the general public, In Hyuk Suh examines the topic of Korean weapons, induding: the favorite weapons of Korea's early warring factions; royal court weapons; and kuk sool won staff and sword forms.
