Resumen
In nearly every region of the world, a stylistic system of fighting and training has evolved. The story of the human race is a story of survival, and whenever there has been oppression or war human ingenuity has refined unarmed combat into a science.
Naturally, we can only present a fraction of the world's fighting arts. There are many other styles worthy of being highlighted, from Russian sambo to Burmese bando; however, we have succeeded in obtaining the cooperation of practitioners of a wide cross section of the major fighting principles of numerous nations across the globe.
What we would like all readers to realize is that these comparisons are only photographic representations of martial strategies. All arts are based on training foundations, and need the necessary attributes such as timing, speed, and power to make them effective. Photographs freeze time, so they cannot represent the speed with which these techniques were performed.
